05:00: The tour guide from Vietnam Tourist will pick up guests at the meeting point to begin your 3-day, 2-night Mekong Delta (Mien Tay) tour.

07:00:  Enjoy breakfast at the rest stop.

08:00: Continue the journey to Chau Doc. Relax, enjoy the scenic drive, and connect with your guide throughout the trip.

12:30: Arrive in Chau Doc and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

AFTERNOON
13:30: Check in at the hotel and relax.

15:00: The coach will take the group to the Nui Sam historical and cultural complex to begin the pilgrimage and sightseeing program.

The group will visit the Tay An Ancient Pagoda, located at the foot of Nui Sam Mountain. Situated near the Ba Chua Xu Temple, Phuoc Dien Pagoda, and the Thoai Ngoc Hau Tomb, this is one of the most famous pagodas in the Mekong Delta, renowned for its unique Indo-Islamic architectural style.

You will visit the Ba Chua Xu Temple at Nui Sam Mountain, a sacred landmark closely associated with the spiritual culture of Chau Doc. This site is not only a place of worship but also rich in historical stories about the early settlers who defended the region against foreign invaders.

According to local belief, Ba Chua Xu of Nui Sam is a highly revered deity, believed to grant wishes and bestow blessings. Every year, thousands of visitors from all over the country come here to pray for good fortune in their careers, smooth progress in life, and peace and harmony for their families.

Continue your journey to the Thoai Ngoc Hau Tomb (also known as Son Lang). From Ba Chua Xu Temple, it is just a short walk to this grand and dignified mausoleum, surrounded by lush greenery and ancient trees.

This site is one of the few remaining well-preserved Nguyen Dynasty architectural works in Southern Vietnam. The complex serves as both a tomb and a shrine dedicated to Nguyen Van Thoai (Thoai Ngoc Hau), a prominent official of the Nguyen Dynasty who was tasked with reclaiming the land, developing the region, and governing An Giang.

Next, you will visit and check in at the Nui Sam Cable Car Station. Here, you can experience a touch of Ho Chi Minh City through architecture inspired by the Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon, alongside a glimpse of Hanoi’s thousand-year heritage reflected in a One Pillar Pagoda replica, set amidst a year-round blooming lotus pond. At the Medicine Buddha Temple, you can admire Bhutanese Buddhist mural paintings, recreated here for the first time in Vietnam, as well as a collection of European-style classical mural art—offering unique and vibrant photo spots popular among young travelers.

At this point, you can choose one of two sightseeing options based on your preference:

Option 1: Take the Cable Car to the Summit (At your own expense: 150,000 VND/round trip) Ascend to the peak of Nui Sam Mountain to immerse yourself in the sacred atmosphere of the Jade Buddha Temple, home to a majestic 10-ton Shakyamuni Buddha statue carved from a single block of natural jade. You will also visit Ba Shrine (Bệ Bà), located near the Phao Dai Tower—the legendary original resting place of Ba Chua Xu. The summit offers breathtaking panoramic views of vast rice fields stretching all the way to the Cambodian border. (Please gather back at the Lower Station by 17:30 for the coach pickup).

Option 2: Explore the Mountainside & Iconic Pagodas (For guests not taking the cable car) Take a short, scenic walk to admire and photograph the magnificent 81-meter seated Buddha statue carved directly into the mountainside, the crown jewel of the Nui Sam Cultural Park. Afterward, continue your exploration to Chua Hang (Phuoc Dien Pagoda). Nestled on the slopes of Sam Mountain, this centuries-old, iconic landmark is renowned for its traditional architecture, serene cave shrines, and deep cultural heritage, offering a truly tranquil experience. (Please return to the meeting point by 17:30 to rejoin the group).

17:30: The coach will pick up the group (including guests from the lower cable car station) and transfer everyone to a local restaurant for dinner.

EVENING: Free time to explore the charming night vibe of Chau Doc at your leisure.

MORNING:

07:00:  Enjoy breakfast and check out of the hotel.

08:00: Visit Chau Doc Market, the main trading hub of this vibrant tourist city. The market offers a lively cultural picture of Chau Doc in particular and An Giang tourism in general.

Here, you can explore and shop for a wide range of local products, including ready-to-eat foods, fresh vegetables and fruits, traditional fish sauce (mam), as well as clothing and daily goods. Thanks to its well-organized layout, the market is easy and convenient for sightseeing and shopping.

Chau Doc Market is especially famous for its local specialties such as fermented fish, fish noodle soup (bun ca), and sugar palm products. These dishes strongly reflect Khmer cultural influences and the river-based lifestyle of the Mekong Delta, rich in aquatic resources and agricultural produce.

09:00: Depart for Tra Su Cajuput Forest, one of the most famous freshwater wetland ecosystems in Vietnam, located to the west of the Hau River. This special sanctuary is home to a rich diversity of water birds, wildlife, and rare aquatic plants within the country’s protected forest system.

Upon arrival, you will board a motorboat to venture deep into the forest, before transferring to a traditional sampan. Guided by local rowers in charming "ba ba" attire, you will gently glide through narrow canals, surrounded by a vibrant, endless carpet of green duckweed covering the water's surface. Afterward, you can explore the forest's three uniquely designed bridges: the Kieu Bridge, the Van Buoc Bamboo Bridge, and the Love Bridge. (Entrance fee is at guests’ own expense).

12:00: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

AFTERNOON

13:00: Depart for Ha Tien.

15:00: Arrive in Ha Tien. Check in at the hotel and relax.

16:30: Transfer to Mui Nai Beach, one of the most famous and popular beaches in Ha Tien, renowned for its calm waters and unique, mineral-rich dark sand. Here, you are free to swim, enjoy various beach activities, and savor fresh local seafood. For a special experience, you can also visit a hillside café to enjoy a panoramic view of the romantic Gulf of Thailand from above.

18:30: Enjoy dinner at local restaurant.

Feel free to discover Ha Tien at night.

Overnight at Ha Tien

MORNING:

07:00: Check out of the hotel and enjoy breakfast.

08:00: Visit the Mac Cuu Tomb, a historical complex dedicated to the Mac family, built to honor their monumental contributions to the exploration and development of Ha Tien. Located on the peaceful slopes of Binh San Mountain, the site offers a panoramic view over Ha Tien and the Gulf of Thailand. This landmark is also immortalized as one of the legendary "Ten Landscapes of Ha Tien" in classic Vietnamese poetry.

09:00: Visit the Phu Dung Ancient Pagoda, one of the most well-known sacred sites in Ha Tien—a peaceful and poetic borderland region. The pagoda not only adds a sense of serenity and solemn beauty to the landscape, but also captivates visitors with the legendary, tragic love story between a former governor and the "lady under the overturned flower pot."

10:00: Visit the Thach Dong Cave (also known as Thach Dong Thon Van - "The Cave that Swallows Clouds"), one of the most famous natural attractions in Ha Tien. This majestic limestone cave is intertwined with the famous Vietnamese folklore of Thach Sanh and Ly Thong. Inside, stunning stalactite formations create a mystical and sacred atmosphere. From the cave entrance, you can also enjoy a panoramic view of picturesque Ha Tien, surrounded by lush green mountains and peaceful landscapes.

NOON:

11:30: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

AFTERNOON

13:00: Depart and head back to Ho Chi Minh City.

20:00: Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and transfer everyone back to the original pick-up point. End of the Chau Doc – Ha Tien 3-day, 2-night tour.
