MORNING:

05:00: The tour guide from VIETNAM TOURIST will pick up guests at the meeting point and depart for the Chau Doc – An Giang 2 days 1 night tour.

Pick-up Points:

• Location 1: VIETNAM TOURIST Office – No. 54, D9 Street, Tây Thạnh Ward, Tân Phú District, Ho Chi Minh City (05:00 AM)
• Location 2: VIETNAM TOURIST Office – No. 208, Hoàng Văn Thụ Street, Ward 4, Tân Bình District, Ho Chi Minh City (05:10 AM)
• Pick-up Point 3: Chu Van An Secondary School – 115 Cong Quynh Street, Nguyen Cu Trinh Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City (05:30 AM).
  Note: For this pick-up point, on the return trip, guests will be dropped off at Ben Thanh Market.

07:00: Enjoy breakfast at the rest stop.

08:00: Continue the journey to Chau Doc. Relax, enjoy the onboard activities, and connect with your guide throughout the trip.

12:30: Arrive in Chau Doc and enjoy lunch at local restaurant

AFTERNOON

13:30: Check in at the hotel and relax.

15:00: Sam Mountain Cultural & Historical Complex

The coach transfers the group to the Sam Mountain Cultural and Historical Complex to begin a pilgrimage and sightseeing program.

Tay An Ancient Pagoda: Located at the foot of Sam Mountain, this is one of the most famous pagodas in the Mekong Delta, renowned for its unique blend of Vietnamese and Indo-Islamic architecture.

Ba Chua Xu Temple: Visit one of the most important spiritual sites in Chau Doc, attracting thousands of pilgrims each year who come to pray for good fortune, prosperity, and family well-being.

Thoai Ngoc Hau Tomb (Son Lang): Explore one of the finest remaining Nguyen Dynasty architectural complexes in Southern Vietnam. The mausoleum honors Thoai Ngoc Hau, a respected mandarin who played a significant role in the development of the An Giang region.

Sam Mountain Cable Car Station: Visit this unique complex featuring architectural elements inspired by the Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon and Hanoi’s iconic One Pillar Pagoda. Guests can also admire Bhutanese Buddhist murals and a collection of European-style artworks, creating excellent photo opportunities.

OPTION 1: Cable Car Experience (Optional – Ticket excluded, approximately 150,000 VND/person round trip)

- Take the cable car to the summit of Sam Mountain.

- Jade Buddha Temple: Admire the impressive Shakyamuni Buddha statue, carved from a single 10-ton block of natural jade.

- Ba Shrine (Be Ba): Visit the sacred site associated with the legend of Ba Chua Xu before her statue was moved to the foot of the mountain.

Note: The coach will pick up cable car passengers at the lower station at 17:30.

OPTION 2: Walking & Cultural Sightseeing

- Visit the impressive 81-meter seated Buddha statue carved into the mountainside, one of the highlights of Sam Mountain Cultural Park.

- Chua Hang (Phuoc Dien Pagoda): Continue to this centuries-old pagoda nestled on the slopes of Sam Mountain, renowned for its traditional architecture, tranquil atmosphere, and panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

Note: Guests will regroup with the tour at the designated meeting point at 17:30.

17:30: Transfers to a local restaurant for dinner.

EVENING: Free time at leisure to explore Chau Doc.

Overnight in Chau Doc.

MORNING:

07:00: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and complete the check-out process.

08:00: Chau Doc Market: Visit the vibrant trading hub of the city to experience the lively river-based lifestyle of the Mekong Delta. Explore well-organized stalls featuring fresh local produce, traditional clothing, and famous Khmer-influenced specialties such as fermented fish sauce (mam), fish noodle soup (bun ca), and sweet sugar palm products.

09:00: Tra Su Cajuput Forest: Depart for one of Vietnam's most famous protected mangrove ecosystems. Upon arrival, board a traditional sampan boat guided by local rowers in classic ba ba attire. Glide gently through narrow canals covered in a lush carpet of green duckweed while spotting diverse water birds. Don't forget to check in at the forest's three uniquely designed bridges: Kieu Bridge, Love Bridge, and the Van Buoc Bamboo Bridge. (Note: Entrance fee is at guests’ own expense).

AFTERNOON:

12:30: Enjoy a delicious lunch featuring local specialties at a regional restaurant.

13:30: Nui Cam Mountain (Forbidden Mountain): Journey to the "roof of the Southwest," the highest peak in the Mekong Delta at 716 meters.

• Take a scenic 3.5 km cable car ride passing over the serene Thanh Long Lake and enjoying panoramic views of the mystical That Son (Seven Mountains) range.
• At the summit, explore iconic spiritual sites including Thuy Liem Lake, Son Than Shrine, Phat Lon Pagoda, and Van Linh Pagoda.
• Admire the crown jewel of the mountain: the majestic 32-meter-tall Maitreya Buddha statue smiling peacefully over the landscape.

16:00: Ta Pa Pagoda: Visit one of the most distinctive spiritual landmarks in the region, perched atop Ta Pa Mountain. Marvel at its striking, authentic Khmer-inspired architecture which blends beautifully with the wild, poetic surroundings. Enjoy the refreshing mountain breezes and take in the serene, peaceful atmosphere far away from bustling city life.

17:30: Board the coach and begin the journey back to Ho Chi Minh City. Along the way, the coach will stop at 1–2 rest stations for a break, restroom use, and dinner (at guests' own expense).

22:00: Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City. You will be safely dropped off at their original pick-up points.
