TRA VINH – CON CHIM FULL DAY TOUR

MORNING:

04:30: The tour guide from VIETNAM TOURIST will welcom guests at the meeting point and depart for the Tra Vinh full-day tour. During the journey, guests can enjoy light activities with the tour guide and relax on the coach.

PICK-UP POINTS:

Location 1: VIETNAM TOURIST Office – No. 54, D9 Street, Tay Thanh Ward, Tan Phu District, Ho Chi Minh City (04:30)

Location 2: VIETNAM TOURIST Office – No. 208 Hoang Van Thu Street, Ward 4, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City (05:00)

Location 3: Chu Van An Secondary School – 115 Cong Quynh Street, Nguyen Cu Trinh Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City (05:30)

Note: For guests at pick-up Point 3, drop-off on the return trip will be at Ben Thanh Market.

07:30:  Enjoy breakfast at rest stop.

08:00: Continue the journey along National Highway 53 toward the downstream area to visit Con Chim Islet Community Tourism Area.

09:30: Arriving at the ferry station, we step ashore to visit Con Chim. Here, the locals have nothing to offer but their open hearts and warm hospitality.

09:45: After arriving at Con Chim Islet Community Tourism Area, visitors begin exploring the peaceful and rustic atmosphere of this community-based tourism destination, which reflects the traditional lifestyle of the Southern Vietnamese countryside.

You can take souvenir photos at the Con Chim village gate, where friendly local residents warmly welcome visitors with traditional conical hats.

You will visit the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sau Mai to learn more about the Con Chim community tourism model through an introduction map of the area. After that, we will receive a bicycle (2 people per bike) and cycle along the charming village paths to explore the peaceful lifestyle of the local community living in harmony with nature.

Then visit Ms. Van’s house – the “Old Southern Kitchen.” Here, local residents will share stories about the history of Con Chim Hamlet and the daily life of the people in this peaceful riverside community. You can also relive childhood memories through the image of traditional leaf houses, wood-burning stoves, and old household items from the past. In this simple and cozy setting, the host will invite you to enjoy handmade grass jelly, coconut jam, and a fragrant cup of butterfly pea flower tea.

Continue visit Be Thao Coconut Garden to enjoy freshly harvested coconuts in the peaceful countryside setting. Each person will be offered one fresh coconut served with an eco-friendly grass straw.

NOON::

12:00: Enjoy a countryside meal prepared with locally sourced, nature-friendly ingredients, reflecting the concept “from farm to table.” The experience also includes tasting traditional black glutinous rice wine from the island region and interacting with local resident.

AFTERNOON:

13:00: Arrive at Sau Giau House to experience making giant “banh xeo” (Vietnamese sizzling pancakes), filled with fresh specialties from the Co Chien River. After the hands-on experience, you will enjoy the delicious freshly made banh xeo, a flavorful local specialty.

14:00: Co Ba Sua’s house, where you will explore the Dragon Scale House and experience traditional. We will also be invited by the host to enjoy freshly made la mo cakes served with rich coconut milk. In addition, the surrounding scenery offers many beautiful photo spots, perfect for capturing memorable moments.

14:30: Continue to the “Lang Toi” folk games area, where they can step back into childhood memories through traditional Vietnamese games such as tug of war, O An Quan (Vietnamese mancala), skipping rope, can throwing, crab racing, and crab fishing.

15:30: Say goodbye to the warm-hearted people of Con Chim Islet Community Tourism Area and take the ferry back to the mainland.

16:00: Return trip to Ho Chi Minh City. On the way back, the group will stop to visit a traditional Tra Cuon banh tet workshop, famous for its well-known specialty in Tra Vinh.

19:00:  Arrive Ho Chi Minh City. The vehicle will transfer guests to the original pick-up point. End of the Tra Vinh Full-Day Tour.
