EVENING

22:30: Meet your Vietnam Tourist tour guide at the designated pick-up point at Mien Tay Bus Station (395 Kinh Duong Vuong Street, An Lac Ward, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City).

Begin your 3-Day, 3-Night Con Dao Island Tour as your comfortable sleeper bus departs for Tran De Port in Soc Trang Province.

Overnight on the sleeper bus. During the journey, the bus will make a rest stop where you can relax and freshen up before continuing to the port.

For your convenience, pick-up is also available at designated locations along National Highway 1A via the Trung Luong Expressway route toward Tien Giang, subject to prior arrangement.

MORNING

07:00: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.

08:00: You have two options for the morning:

Option 1: Enjoy free time to relax, stroll around the island, or swim at the beach.

Option 2: Join the optional Hon Bay Canh Island Tour (VND 850,000 per person).

08:00: Depart by speedboat for Hon Bay Canh Island (Phu Cuong), the second-largest island in the Con Dao Archipelago. The island is renowned for its rich mangrove ecosystem, pristine beaches such as Cat Lon Beach and Cat Nho Beach, and Vietnam's largest sea turtle conservation center.

This eco-tour offers an excellent opportunity to explore the island's natural beauty, snorkel among colorful coral reefs, and, during the turtle nesting season (April–October), observe sea turtles or witness newly hatched turtles being released into the ocean.

09:00: Arrive at Hon Bay Canh Island. Explore the mangrove forest, learn about the island's conservation efforts, and, if available, watch baby sea turtles being released into the sea.

09:30: Enjoy free time to swim, snorkel, relax on the white sandy beach, and capture unforgettable photos of this peaceful tropical paradise.

11:00: Return to the mainland by speedboat.

Please note: The optional tour itinerary, schedule, and visiting locations may be adjusted depending on weather and sea conditions to ensure guest safety. In certain circumstances, the tour guide may not accompany guests throughout the optional excursion.

NOON

11:30: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before returning to the hotel for a short rest.

AFTERNOON

14:00: Begin a fascinating journey through the historical heritage of Con Dao, once known as the "Hell on Earth."

Visit:

Con Dao Museum, where you will discover the island's history through an extensive collection of artifacts, photographs, and historical documents.

Phu Son Prison and Phu Hai Prison, where thousands of Vietnamese revolutionaries and political prisoners were once imprisoned. Learn about the notorious Rice Milling Cell, the Dark Cell, and other historical sites.

Tiger Cages, the infamous prison complex consisting of 40 narrow prison cells and 60 roofless "sunbathing" cells where prisoners endured some of the harshest treatment during the colonial era.

17:00: Return to the hotel for some time to relax.

18:30: Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

EVENING

Enjoy free time to explore Con Dao Town at your own pace.

Overnight in Con Dao.

MORNING

07:00: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then complete the check-out procedures.

08:00: Visit Nui Mot Pagoda (Van Son Tu), one of Con Dao's most scenic spiritual landmarks. Perched on a hillside, the pagoda offers panoramic views of the island and overlooks a beautiful lotus lake, making it a perfect place for sightseeing and photography.

09:30: Continue to Phi Yen Shrine (An Son Mieu), dedicated to Lady Phi Yen, the consort of Lord Nguyen Anh (later Emperor Gia Long). Learn about the legendary story of Lady Phi Yen and discover why this sacred shrine is highly respected by the local community.

10:30: Visit Con Dao Market, where you can shop for local specialties such as dried squid, one-sun-dried squid, fresh seafood packed for transport, and handcrafted souvenirs made from seashells and coconut shells.

Don't forget to try roasted tropical almond seeds (Hat Bang Rang) or candied tropical almond seeds (Mut Hat Bang), two of Con Dao's signature local delicacies.

NOON

11:30: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

AFTERNOON

12:30: Transfer to Ben Dam Port.

13:00: Board the high-speed ferry and depart Ben Dam Port, bidding farewell to the sacred island of Con Dao as you return to Tran De Port in Soc Trang.

15:30: Arrive at Tran De Port and board the sleeper bus for the journey back to Ho Chi Minh City.

EVENING

21:00: Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and transfer back to the original drop-off point, marking the end of your 3-Day, 3-Night Con Dao Island Tour.
