AFTERNOON

13:00: Visit Quan Ba Heaven Gate to admire panoramic views of Tam Son Town and the famous Quan Ba Twin Mountains, also known as the Fairy Bosom Mountains.

13:30: Continue along the winding Tham Ma Pass, renowned for its dramatic curves and breathtaking mountain scenery. This is also a great place to take memorable photos with local Hmong children dressed in their colorful traditional costumes.

16:00: Arrive at Sung La Valley and visit Pao's House, a traditional Hmong earthen house that served as the filming location for the award-winning Vietnamese movie The Story of Pao. Depending on the season, you may also have the opportunity to admire the beautiful buckwheat flower fields near the famous Nine-Turn Pass.

16:30: Continue to Pho Cao Village, where traditional Hmong houses with distinctive stone fences have preserved the authentic character of the region for generations.

17:00: Visit the historic Vuong Palace (Hmong King's Palace), the former residence of Vuong Chinh Duc, the most powerful Hmong ruler in the Dong Van region during the early 20th century. Nestled in the peaceful valley of Sa Phin, this unique architectural complex reflects the prosperity and influence of the Vuong family.

18:30: Arrive in Dong Van Town, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant, then check in to your hotel.

EVENING

Enjoy free time to explore Dong Van Ancient Town, a charming mountain town with nearly a century of history. Surrounded by dramatic limestone mountains, the old quarter features traditional houses built in a distinctive blend of Hmong, Chinese, and French architecture. You may also relax with a cup of coffee at one of the town's historic cafés (at your own expense).

MORNING

06:30: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and complete the check-out procedure.

07:30: Begin your journey across the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, widely regarded as the most spectacular section of the famous Happiness Road. Admire the breathtaking scenery of the Ma Pi Leng Canyon, an approximately 800-meter-deep gorge carved through the limestone mountains and considered one of the deepest canyons in Vietnam.

Continue to Ma Pi Leng Panorama, a popular viewpoint featuring a café and viewing deck nestled against the mountainside. From here, enjoy sweeping views over the magnificent Tu San Canyon and the emerald-green Nho Que River, winding gracefully through the dramatic landscape below.

08:30: Continue to the Nho Que River, located at an elevation of more than 1,500 meters above sea level. Originating from the Nghiem Son Mountains in China, the river flows through the spectacular Tu San Canyon, often recognized as the deepest canyon in Southeast Asia and one of Ha Giang's most iconic natural attractions.

09:00: Board a boat for a scenic cruise along the Nho Que River. As you glide through the towering limestone cliffs of Tu San Canyon, you'll be surrounded by crystal-clear jade-colored water and breathtaking mountain scenery. This unforgettable experience offers a unique perspective of one of Northern Vietnam's most impressive natural wonders.

10:00: Visit Lo Lo Chai Cultural Village, one of the most beautiful and well-preserved ancient villages in Ha Giang. Home to the Lo Lo ethnic people, one of Vietnam's smallest ethnic minority groups, the village is known for its centuries-old earthen houses, yin-yang tiled roofs, traditional stone fences, and peaceful atmosphere. Throughout the year, visitors can also admire a variety of seasonal flowers, including peach blossoms, plum blossoms, pear blossoms, mustard flowers, buckwheat flowers, wild chrysanthemums, and many other colorful blooms.
