MORNING

08:00: Vietnam Tourist's tour guide and driver pick you up at the designated meeting point and depart for your Cat Ba Island 2 Days 1 Night Tour. Travel via the Hanoi – Hai Phong Expressway and cross the Tan Vu – Lach Huyen Bridge, the longest sea-crossing bridge in Vietnam connecting Dinh Vu with Cat Hai Island in Hai Phong.

Along the way, the vehicle will stop at a rest area where you may take a break, use the facilities, or enjoy breakfast (at your own expense).

10:00: Arrive at Dong Bai Ferry Terminal. Your tour guide will assist you with the ferry transfer to Cat Ba Island.

NOON:

11:30: Arrive on Cat Ba Island and transfer to a local restaurant for lunch.

Located at the southern edge of Ha Long Bay, Cat Ba Island is the largest island in the Cat Ba Archipelago. Renowned for its pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, dramatic limestone landscapes, and lush tropical forests, the island is a paradise for nature lovers. Visitors can enjoy activities such as kayaking, hiking, swimming, and savoring fresh local seafood.

AFTERNOON

13:30: Transfer to your hotel for check-in and a short rest after the journey.

Spend the afternoon at your leisure enjoying Cat Ba's beautiful beaches, including Cat Co 1, Cat Co 2, and Cat Co 3. These beaches are famous for their soft white sand, clear turquoise waters, and stunning limestone cliffs that create a spectacular coastal setting. Whether you choose to swim, relax under the sun, or simply admire the breathtaking scenery, Cat Ba offers the perfect atmosphere for a refreshing island escape. Vietnam Tourist will provide transportation between the hotel and the beaches according to the tour schedule.

EVENING

18:00: Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

After dinner, you are free to stroll around Cat Ba Town, explore the lively night atmosphere, or relax by the seaside.

MORNING

05:00: Early risers may choose to visit Cannon Fort (at their own expense) to watch the sunrise over the sea and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding islands. Afterward, relax with a morning coffee before returning to the hotel.

07:00: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and check out.

08:00: Transfer to Ben Beo Pier, where your tour guide will assist you in boarding the cruise.

Begin your cruise through Lan Ha Bay, one of the most beautiful bays in northern Vietnam.

Along the way, pass Cai Beo Floating Fishing Village, one of the oldest floating fishing villages in the Gulf of Tonkin, and enjoy views of Turtle Islet and Chopstick Islet.

Continue to Viet Hai Village, the only ancient village on Cat Ba Island that still preserves its traditional way of life. Explore the village by bicycle, ride through the peaceful countryside and the edge of Cat Ba National Park, or experience a fish foot massage and visit local homes (optional, at your own expense).

The cruise then arrives at the Hang Luon – Tay Keo area, where you will be provided with a life jacket, paddle, and kayak. Paddle through peaceful lagoons and limestone caves adorned with impressive stalactites while discovering the untouched beauty of this hidden corner of Lan Ha Bay. Surrounded by towering limestone cliffs and crystal-clear waters, the area offers a truly unforgettable kayaking experience in the heart of nature.

NOON:

12:30: Enjoy a delicious seafood lunch on board the cruise, featuring a variety of fresh local specialties from Cat Ba Island.

After lunch, relax or swim at Van Boi Beach or Ba Trai Dao Beach (subject to tidal conditions). These beautiful natural beaches are famous for their soft white sand, crystal-clear waters, and stunning island scenery. Whether you choose to swim, sunbathe, or simply capture memorable photos surrounded by the magnificent seascape, this will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of your journey.
AFTERNOON:

15:00: Return to the pier and transfer back to the hotel to collect your luggage.

16:00: Depart for Cai Vieng Ferry Terminal, board the ferry back to the mainland, and continue your journey to Hanoi.

EVENING:

20:00: Arrive back in Hanoi. Vietnam Tourist's driver and tour guide will drop you off at the original meeting point, marking the end of your Cat Ba Island 2 Days 1 Night Tour.
